Motor Speed Control and Counter Project
Project Overview
This project was initiated by the customer with the aim of installing an inverter to control motor speed, and concurrently, implementing a counter to keep track of the number of times a press machine was utilized. This installation took place in Umm Al Quwain, a northern emirate of the United Arab Emirates.

Challenges
- Steel Enclosure: We meticulously prepared a steel enclosure to house and organize all the electronic components required for this project.
- Delta Inverter: The inverter selected for this project was a Delta VFD015EL43W-1. It was expertly installed and wired to manage the motor’s speed control.
- Proximity Sensor and Counter: We mounted both a proximity sensor and a counter on the press machine. These components were meticulously integrated into the machine’s functionality.
- Potentiometer Installation: In the control panel, we installed a potentiometer. This potentiometer was designed to provide precise control over the Variable Frequency Drive (VFD), allowing for efficient motor speed adjustments.
- Control Panel Finalization: We undertook the finalization of the control panel, ensuring that all components were correctly arranged and wired for optimal performance.
- Testing and Delivery: Before completion, we rigorously tested the system to ensure that both the motor speed control and the counter functioned seamlessly. Once we were satisfied with the performance, we delivered the project to the customer in Umm Al Quwain.
